Support Low Isles Preservation Society

The Low Isles Preservation Society (LIPS) is a dedicated conservation group committed to protecting and preserving the unique wildlife, landscapes, and cultural heritage of the Low Isles and surrounding marine areas.

Established in 1992 by local community members, LIPS works closely with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service to ensure this delicate ecosystem is safeguarded through volunteer caretaking, bird and wildlife surveys, environmental maintenance activities, and educational programs.

Your generous donation helps us continue vital volunteer programs such as:

  • Relief caretaking and island maintenance

  • Pied Imperial Pigeon counts and shorebird surveys
