Heritage architect visit shines a light on the Low Isles lens

LIPS and Douglas Shire Historical Society members recently had the opportunity to meet with heritage architect, Peter Marquis-Kyle.

Last week Peter visited both the Courthouse Museum and Low Isles, to view the original Low Isles Fresnel lens and share a chat about Low Isles historic lighthouse.

Peter provided a fascinating insight into the history of the lighthouse, and the lens and we very much appreciate his visit.

Thank you to Dusty and to the Historical Society for images capturing the experience.
